“There is no such sense of solitude as that which we experience upon the silent and vast elevations of great mountains. Lifted high above the level of human sounds and habitations, among the wild expanses and colossal features of Nature, we are thrilled in our loneliness with a strange fear and elation – an ascent above the reach of life’s expectations or companionship, and the tremblings of a wild and undefined misgivings.”
― Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, The Haunted Baronet And Others: Ghost Stories

Haha, thank you so much for your kind words! I love the time lapse videos. It’s always good to see how a painting comes to life, and also help others find their technique.
Have a lovely day! 🙂

Well, I noticed the same clothing, so it was clearly all the same day 😉

Good observation! I don’t like to leave undone paintings 🙂 I always try to finish them on the same day.

Thanks, Gin! It took a while. I think a few hours. The more detail I put in, the longer it takes. I do enjoy it a lot though 🙂

To you think you will ever go back to your old paintings and change some things ?

I have a project in mind for this. To repaint some of my old paintings, at a smaller scale, and get more detail in. I hope it will do the trick 🙂 Some of my old ones are horrific, but after a 9 years break, no wonder 🙂

Thank you so much! I love to experiment more techniques and shades. I still look for the right technique but I think I’m closer to getting it done perfectly 🙂
