Because the weather was so nice in the past few days, I spent some time in the garden, painting. I was inspired by all the beautiful colors of spring, to paint a happy butterfly, sitting on a sunflower.
Halfway to finishing the details of the flower, a bee landed on the paper. Should I take it as a compliment? 🙂
Enjoy!

Thank you! I was quite surprised when it happened. There are a lot of bees around, because of all the flowers. And by that, I don’t mean painted ones :))

It really is the color of spring, about the bird stopped at the painting on paper bees, it is the gift of spring to you. 🙂

The sunflower looked so real that the bee went to see if it could find some pollen.

Love the colors! And how nice is it to get outside and work?! It was just slightly too cold here yesterday for me to do the same. I’m hoping maybe next weekend it will be a little nicer!

We would both love to get out more! It was nice enough for a hike a couple weeks ago, and hopefully soon we’ll be able to go out all the time!

Thanks! It looks like we’re stuck in weather that isn’t great for the foreseeable future. I guess it will make the warm and sunny weather all the better when it finally arrives!
